As an artist, he is fluent in the technology of writing, large and small forms, always focused on action, and not on describing the environment or the emotional experiences of the characters.

Throughout life, a person has to face different problems, find himself in different situations. Some of them are pleasant, others bring pain and disappointment. When a person feels bad, he can blame the whole world for this and consider that he is unlucky, that he is doomed. The book "Life Loves You" will help you understand that this is not at all the case. Its authors Louise L. Hay and Robert Holden have tried to convey important thoughts to their readers.

The main idea of the book is in the title, and the authors explain why they think so. They explain how the fact that life loves each of us is manifested. Everything that happens to a person does not happen to him, but for him. Each situation teaches something, gives invaluable experience, which makes us who we are. This book talks a lot about love, and above all, you need to learn to love yourself. At the very beginning of the book it says that we see the world as we ourselves are. The world is just a reflection of ourselves.

The book gives spiritual practices and exercises that will help heal life. It tells about how to look at yourself and the whole world with love, how to learn to accept it, how to get rid of guilt and learn to be grateful. Man does not exist by himself, he is part of this world. And the world gives a person what he himself carries and gives to others. If you pay due attention to the proposed practices, you can feel how warmth and love appear in your soul, and the world no longer seems cruel and unfair.

Foreword

My first encounter with Louise Hay was backstage at the I Can Do It conference in Las Vegas. Reid Tracy, president of Hay House Publishing, introduced us to each other. "Welcome to the Hay House family," said Louise, giving me a friendly hug.

Louise was supposed to introduce me from the stage to the public as the first speaker. "Can I make you up?" she asked. I don't wear make-up in my daily life, but Louise asked so kindly and pleasantly that I couldn't resist. Louise worked on my face with different brushes, powders, creams, and glossed my lips. It was really fun. Everyone backstage really enjoyed watching us. With the finishing touch, Louise looked into my eyes and said, "Life loves you."

“Life loves you” is one of her favorite affirmations to keep her spirits up. It seems to me that it is like a personal signature, like a main idea representing Louise's life and her work. She loves to inspire people with the words "Life loves you." Whenever I hear these words, they are like a balm to my heart. I once thought that Life Loves You would be a good title for a Hay House book. I mentioned this to Louise and also to Reid Tracy. “When can you help Louise with this book?” he asked me. I thought it was a joke. Anyway, at that point I was working on writing my own books.

Several years have passed. I have three new books out for Hay House: Be Happy with a foreword by Louise, Attraction, and Holy Change! The idea of the book “Life loves you” came to me from time to time, but I did nothing. The day after finishing work on Holy Change! I planned to play golf. During lunch, I unexpectedly managed to write a synopsis for Louise Hay's Life Loves You, co-authored with Robert Holden. Although in the morning I didn’t even have thoughts about it. But the words somehow appeared on the page.

I showed the synopsis to Holy's wife. "Where does it come from?" she wondered. I said that I was no less surprised myself. “Send him immediately,” Holy ordered. On October 7th, I emailed the synopsis to my editor, Patty Gift. Patty replied that she and Reid Tracy enjoyed the writing very much. Reid had already given the synopsis to Louise. Louise's birthday is October 8th. On October 9, I received a letter from her, decorated with funny drawings: balloons, a cake, hearts, gifts. She wrote: “I am so happy, Robert. How long have you been thinking, dear? It is a great honor for me to take part in this special event. Life will help us as soon as possible. Indeed, my birthday was a happy one! Much love, Lulu."

The book “Life loves you” is the fruit of our dialogue with Louise. I visited Louise in San Diego, California three times between Thanksgiving and Easter. We spent a total of nine days together and also regularly Skyped. I recorded all our conversations. Over the course of a number of years, Louise and I met more than twenty times at "I Can Do It!" conferences. in Europe, Australia, Canada and America. I interviewed Louise at the Hay House World Summit. Louise also attended my open talks and workshops. The book describes our meetings before each dialogue.

“Life loves you” is a search that leads us, in fact, to the knowledge of ourselves. The book explores our relationship with the world. It asks deep questions about the nature of reality. In our time, science has learned to see the world in a new way. For example, we now know that atoms are not separate small particles, but manifestations of universal energy. The universe of individual particles never really existed. Everything is part of everything. Each of us is part of a greater unification. We are in relationship with the stars, with every being, with all creation.

Science recognizes that this world is not just a physical reality; it is also a state of mind. “The universe is more like a great thought than a great machine,” wrote the English physicist Sir James Jeans. The study of the consciousness of creation is a new front of work for science. Louise and I believe that the basic building block of creation is not the atom, but love. This love is not sentimentality. She is not just an emotion; she is the creative principle behind the dance of life. She is the universe. She is reasonable. She is benevolent. We are all manifestations of this love. She is our true nature.

“Life loves you” is both a search and a practice. Louise is a spiritual pragmatist. I am also interested in philosophy only if it can be applied in everyday life. Therefore, as a subtitle, we chose "Seven Spiritual Practices for Healing Life." The book has seven parts, each of which ends with a spiritual practice that helps turn theory into experience. In addition to these seven practices, there are many other exercises in the book. They can be performed both with a partner and in a group. Please be careful and do not leave these practices unattended. They are also very important.

In the first chapter, "Looking in the Mirror," we explore the Mirror Principle. It is based on the fact that our experience of the world reflects our relationship with ourselves. We see the world not as it really is, but as we ourselves are. This world reflects the basic truth of our lives: I am worthy of love . The world becomes a dark and lifeless place when we move away from our heart and stop loving ourselves. Only a sincere effort of self-love can help you experience the tenderness of creation and look at the world in a new way. The spiritual practice described in the first part includes the exercise “Let life love you” and the meditation “Prayer of love”.

In the second part, “Affirming Your Life,” Louise and I talk about how we learned to see the world during our school years. I'm talking about a lecture I heard while in college that changed my views forever. The lecture was called “Tell me honestly, do you really believe that a flat tire on your car wheel can cause you to headache? In this case, we invite you to agree that life does not judge or criticize you. We suffer because of our psychology. Of course, people can interfere with us, but life itself is not against us. Why? Life is deeply supportive. We are a manifestation of creation, and life wants us to realize our nature, our Unconditioned Self. The spiritual practice described in this part is called "Ten Points".

The third part of “Following Your Joy” is about listening to your inner voice. “The phrase “Life loves you” is not about how to exist in your own way, but about how to get out of this limitation,” Louise says. Louise talks about her “inner bell”, and I talk about my “Yes” with a capital letter. Life is always trying to guide, support and inspire us. We do not see this because sometimes we are too caught up in our personal unfortunate history. The spiritual practice in this part of the book is to create a list of positive affirmations to help you follow your joy and live a life of love.

Part Four "Forgiving the Past" is the meeting place for our search. Here we explore some general principles allowing life to love us. For example, a bad experience with grace, when you realize the loss of spiritual purity and the reasons for conscious uselessness. We explore the story of guilt that the superego told us, the tale of how "we were once loved by life, we radiated inner attractiveness, and now everything has sunk into oblivion." This part talks about working with your "inner child" and about the return of the original spiritual innocence. This practice is called the Forgiveness Scale. It is one of the most powerful exercises for developing a sense of forgiveness.

In the fifth part of Be Always Thankful, Louise and I come to understand the principle of the so-called basic faith, which psychologists consider essential in both children and adults. The source of basic faith is the understanding that we were born. This knowledge, penetrating to the marrow of our bones, says that we are part of creation, supported by a loving and merciful Unity. Basic faith recognizes that life not only favors us; she is for us. This faith helps us to see that our lives are offered the best place in the house. Every experience - good or bad, happy or sad, bitter or sweet - allows life to love us. The spiritual practice of this part, called "Daily Gratitude", must be combined with work with a mirror.
