How to open nokia lid. how to open nokia phone

Very often, owners of Nokia Lumiya smartphones are perplexed if they are faced with the task of opening the phone and replacing the SIM card or inserting a memory card. At first glance, these gadgets seem monolithic and so impregnable. However, if you approach it wisely, then you can easily remove the cover from the Nokia Lumiya.

Turn off your phone before removing the cover. It is also necessary to disconnect the charger and headset from it. It is recommended to stick a protective film on the touch screen, otherwise you may easily scratch it. Hold the Nokia in your hand with the front side facing you. You can start! The first way to open Novia Lumiya is as follows. Press on the upper right corner of the smartphone, as a result of the manipulation, a small gap will appear between the back panel and the screen. It is in it that the nail should be placed thumb. Gently press to release the top tabs and fold back the panel. Then you need to go to the upper left corner - unpin it too. So you separate the main part of the smartphone body from the cover. After that, it remains to gently lift the main part of the case and remove the back panel.

The second way to remove the cover. To release the upper latches, push the camera from the back. Try to slightly lift the bottom panel of the phone, but act very smoothly, because the mechanism is fragile. The latch is located at the top of the phone. Remember that it cannot be repaired.

You can open Nokia Lumiya in an unusual way. Find any suction cup, for example, from a towel hook, a recorder mount in a car. Suck with it to the back cover of the phone. Just not to the camera, in this case it will stick badly, as it protrudes. Pull on her. Hold the sides of the phone with your other hand to remove the cover.

Remember that when opening Nokia Lumiya, you can not use sharp objects - toothpicks, blades, pencils, pens, nail files, screwdrivers and knives. You may damage the touch glass. You cannot use the device with the back panel removed.

The screen of my old Nokia phone shattered and I decided to buy another phone. In order not to transfer all contacts manually, and I have a lot of them, as well as to be able to transfer photos and other information from the phone, which cannot be transferred if the screen is broken, I decided to use the Nokia Suite program. In order to use this program, a new phone had to be taken also by Nokia. I bought a Nokia 5230. Of course, I read the reviews first. Many complained that the cover of the phone is poorly removed. I decided that this is not such a big minus. Consider removing the lid. But it turned out not quite so. I have never seen such a stupid system. Absolutely correctly write those who say that this phone is not for frequently changing SIM-cards in the phone. I am sure that the case will quickly fail with regular “opening”, so keep that in mind.

I decided to open it with my nails, even grew them to make it more convenient to cling, but the first time I broke my nails until I understood the principle of “opening” the case, since you won’t press hard to avoid breaking the latches. The easiest way to open the case is if you know the location of the latches on the cover of the phone. There are only five of them:

The first one is located on the side of the phone buttons (let it be the bottom of the phone) and opens quite easily with a fingernail thanks to the existing groove:

as a result of which the housing cover is slightly opened:

There is also a groove on the side of the phone cover, it also helps to open one of the latches:

Next, we run a fingernail along the slightly opened groove along the case from the bottom of the phone upwards, pressing more in the intended locations of the latches. We press inside the slightly opening groove, then the latches open with difficulty (maybe while the new ones are still holding on):

Thus, first one snaps off, then the second:

If you opened the case cover on one side and did not break the latches on the cover, then there are no problems with the second side of the cover - it snaps off quite easily. Done - cover removed:

To replace the SIM card, first (as with all phones) we take out the battery:

Here again, "ambush". Again, you need to pry off the latch on the case, which closes the SIM card. It didn’t stick with my fingernail in any way, and I used a plastic stick that I found at home. I think you can use a toothpick:

To extract the SIM card, you need to use a manual or pencil (you can use a toothpick again):

Like this. Ready.

There is another significant drawback of this phone model for me personally. The fact is that the contact search bar is very narrow and I, holding the phone in my left hand and thumb when trying to search, I often miss this line itself. As a result, instead of searching, I often call a subscriber whom, you know, I didn’t want to call. I am a small person and my fingers are small. From this I conclude that it will be quite inconvenient for large people. It may be suitable for miniature women's or children's hands, but for men's hands it is difficult. But this, of course, is my personal opinion, and I don’t want to impose it on anyone, but if you are thinking of buying it, then think about it.

Nokia is distinguished by its constancy, so the features of the device of the back panel of their phones are almost identical.

We suggest you learn how to remove the Nokia cover using the back button or side mounts.

Removing the back cover of the phone

Before trying to remove the cover from your phone, carefully read the instructions that came with your device. You will find the information you need on one of the first pages.

Look at the back of your mobile phone and find a special button on it. Press it and at the same time pull the cover towards you. This will open the compartment with your phone's battery. If the cover refuses to be removed and desperately resists, then push it harder. This often happens with new phones when the device has not yet been developed.

In some models, you can see the side mounts for the cover. In this case, simultaneously hold down the side buttons and slide the panel up. If the panel cannot be removed, it needs to be slightly pry off.

In case you need to remove the entire top panel, remove the battery and arm yourself with a non-sharp knife and a small Phillips screwdriver. Under the place where the battery was located, find special fasteners, some of them may be under the sticker. Unscrew the fasteners with a screwdriver and pry off the cover on one side with a prepared knife.

Before performing these steps, make sure that the device is unplugged from the network.
